On Thursday night we went up to the Hotel Vancouver in Plagne Soleil, for the Crystal quiz put on to raise money for DSUK. A total of about €170 was raised. One of our helpers Scott won a ski-doo ride and instructor Spike won the taster snowboard lesson so they were re-donated for auction which made an extra €50!
Our final day of skiing saw everybody out on the hill. We took some of the wheelchairs up in the cable car and all met for lunch in the restaurant at the top of the mountain! We had stunning sunshine and all enjoyed the company of our new friends!
We're all waiting for our transfer home now and about to enjoy one final lunch from the Terra Nova. This week has been so fantastic. Everybody involved, skiers, helpers and instructors have worked so so hard and really made the week so special!
