As you know, 2012 sees London hosting the summer Olympics, and in this incredible sporting year, DSUK have one space available for the London Marathon, which is taking place on Sunday 22nd April 2012.
General entries to the marathon are now closed, so charity places are the only way to secure an entry into this event.
We are inviting everyone who is interested in taking part in this fantastic event to get in touch with us; we would love for a DSUK member to take this place in this special year! As interest in this place will be high, we will be considering each application carefully, and awarding the place on personal motivation, reasons for running for DSUK and your estimated sponsorship target.
The registration fee is £100, however, the successful applicant will be asked to raise as much sponsorship as possible, with the minimum being set at £1000.00. The funds will go directly back into the charity to assist us with our work.
NB We would like to remind everyone who may not be successful that we still have places available on the Loch Ness Marathon on Sunday 2nd October 2011.
