From 13-20th March 2011, the Crystal Ski Fest returned to Sestriere. Disability Snowsport UK, the British Ski Academy and BASI were on hand to deliver expert coaching throughout the week.
Out of the 200 participants, including our skiing celebrities, there was plenty of serious (and some not so serious!) competition throughout the week’s race agenda. For three days the weather let us see very little but on Thursday the sun came out and we were able to see the race piste and the gorgeous surroundings that Sestriere has to offer.
Along with the on slope antics the fantastic team from Crystal held a race night with the proceeds of €1,040 going to DSUK. Some very generous donors offered some incredible raffle prizes to DSUK which also raised over €700!
